I can't decide if I like this cardigan because it's lovely, or because I have a secret desire to be wafting about Venice like some kind of Shakespearean water nymph, as depicted in the photo.
I think it's probably the former. Who could resist its sweet charms and delicate lace edging? The contrasting colour around the button band, cuffs and hem is also a winner (and an effective trick that can be added to pretty much any pattern).
It's only one of a collection of cardigans from Louisa Harding, which is a lovely book if you can get past some of the styling and hair ornaments that seem to have been nicked off the Empress of Fantasia (Brundi, I'm looking at you).
