Green Jacket

I am loving this seed stitch jacket from the new and appropriately named Debbie Bliss booklet, Snow Queen.

I love the simplicity of the design, the minimalist collar, the 3/4 sleeves which prevent the whole thing from just looking like it's 3 sizes too big. Love the colour too.

Alas, unlike the model I am not an ice maiden, making my way through Narnia and looking forward to a good old knees-up with a few centaurs but, nevertheless, I think it would keep me warm on a frosty London morning.

Of course, miles of seed stitch can be beyond tedious to knit, but the aran-weight yarn would help. Yet another one for my queue methinks…
