Another fantastic London knitting event is on the horizon, so get out your diaries and save the date for All Stitched Up on Friday 14th May, 6-10pm.
Head over to the spooky wonders of the Hunterian Museum for a very special evening of crafty goodness. The Stitchettes from Stitch London will be on hand to teach folk how to get their knit on; you can try your hand at weaving and spinning; and create your own sewn cards. There’ll even be surgeons to show you the secrets of the operating theatre and how to suture – suddenly making up and seaming that cardigan has become a lot more interesting.
I’m looking forward to it and will be there with the Sheep in tow. So come along, say hello, and you can be part of the next episode of the podcast!*
The whole event is free, though it’s probably going to be busy, so I’d head over there early to avoid disappointment, and sign up for the how-to events.
Now, where did I put that surgical kit…
*Podcast participation is not obligatory. Although I will be waving a microphone around and chatting to folk, you won’t be recorded if you don’t want to be. But it’s not scary, I promise. Well, not as scary as those pickled things in jars behind you over there….
