Here at last is an update on Things I Have Been Knitting. I know, all too exciting, isn’t it?

'Daisy, daisy, give me your answer do....'
Indeed, this is Daisy, by Kim Hargreaves from her pattern book Breeze. This version is knitted in Ethical Twist - a yummy blend of wool and alpaca that really makes the seed stitch pop.

The little pockets and the cast-on edge of the sleeves is in Inca Mist baby alpaca. The pockets are possibly the most pointless thing in a garment ever (unless you need to carry around a 50p piece, or a single piece of chewing gum, or a stowaway from Lilliput) and they were very fiddly to sew into place. But I love them anyway.
I made the smallest size, which for once has turned out as intended and is nicely fitted. The yarn is lush, so hopefully this is only the first of many Ethical Twist knits.
