Fear not, those dastardly knitters have not been misbehaving in the hallowed halls of the V&A museum, (well not recently) no, this is the genius that is their Friday late night opening, in association with fabulous crafty folk!
Stitched Up is a free event for anyone going along to the V&A this Friday evening, where you can join the gals from Tea & Make and do some crafty stitching with a free kit to make a rosette, join the garden party, and create your own monster finger puppet with which to terrorise the neighbour’s cat. With all sorts of craft-based arts, DJs spinning their stuff, and the wonderful new quilting exhibition that’s on at the moment, I highly recommend you follow in the footsteps of Steeking and Knit Picks, and get yourself down the Cromwell Road. Who knows, maybe they’ll even let you take your knitting in…
